Tanya M. Carey


 
Tanya Tanya M. Carey was appointed administrative coordinator in May 1996. Before joining the center, she held positions at the Clinical Research Center, the Behavioral Genetics Program, and the Center for Experimental Therapeutics, all at the University of Pennsylvania. Her responsibilities include organizing lectures and the annual international board meeting and overseeing the center's budget and business affairs. Working closely with the founding director, she helped in the campaign to raise $2 million for CASI's endowment. She serves as liaison with faculty, administrators, corporate executives, U.S. and Indian government dignitaries and contributors. Tanya has a bachelor's degree in American Civilization from the University of Pennsylvania and an associate's degree in health care from Peirce College.
